Top Ten Tuesday Bookish Wanderess

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme held over at Broke and Bookish. This week’s topic is: Ten Characters Who Are Fellow Book Nerds (love reading, are writers, work at a bookstore, etc.). I found this to be a really great topic because most of my favorite characters are book nerds, so this list is was really fun to make.

Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. I think Hermione is probably the first fellow book nerd I found in a book, because Harry Potter was the series that got me into reading. The magical thing is that Harry Potter still remains my favorite series, and Hermione remains one of my favorite characters.

Celaena Sardothien from Throne of Glass. A new favorite character of mine, and the reason is that she is such a complex character. I love that she’s not only a badass; she is also a book nerd. (Also, I want to add to this that I love Dorian Havilliard as well, and I love the friendship between this two book nerd in this series)

Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices One of my absolute favorite quotes about books was uttered by Tessa in Clockwork princess, which by the way is the book that has made me cry the most in all my life. I don’t know what else to say, I just love Tessa.

Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices. I love Will’s relationship with books, I feel like is very similar to the relationship most book nerds have with books. Also, a lot of my favorite quotes are things he says about books in The Infernal Devices trilogy; he is just so relatable and quotable.

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. One of my favorite characters of all times. I just love how witty and sassy she is.

Cath from Fangirl. I found Cath to be incredible relatable, I understood her relationship and dedication to that series, and that’s why she is one of my favorite book nerds. Also, she writes fanfiction, and I love reading fanfiction, so that’s pretty cool as well.

Alaska from Looking for Alaska Here’s the thing, I don’t remember this book so well, but I do remember that when I read it I loved Alaska as a character. I know a lot of people don’t really like her, and I don’t know if I would love Alaska as much If I reread the book now, but I’m letting her in this list. I just remember one of the main reasons behind my love for her was her love for books.

Liesel Meminger from The Book Thief Liesel’s love for books impressed even death and I think that’s all I need to say.

Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I included Charlie, because it’s very interesting to me that this story was told through letters he wrote.

Elend from Mistborn.I really liked that he was reading books that were forbidden in a way, and he was inspired to change things by the books he read, that’s the main reason I included him in this list.

Who are your favorite characters that are fellow book nerds? Did you participate in TTT this week? Tell me in the comments, I would love to check out your post!
