Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly
meme held over atBroke and
Bookish. This week’s topic is: Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish. I realised while I did this topic that I never leave a series unfinished after I read more that one book, if I read book two it's because I enjoyed the first one a lot and then I read the rest one after the other. Also, I realised that even if I liked the first book a lot, if I don't immediately pick up the next one, it's likely that a long time goes by before I read the rest of the series.
1) The Fire and Thorns Trilogy by Rae Carson
I read the first book in this series only last month and it became one of my favorites, if not my favorite, of the year. I'm so excited to read the rest of the series, I probably will do it soon!
2) The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Triogy by Laini Taylor
After years of hearing about this, I read the first book in this series only last month, but I really liked it. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.
3) The Grisha Trilogy by Leight Bardugo
Again, I only read the first book in this series last month, but I'm so intrigued about what's gonna happen next. I think I will read this soon.
4) The Black Magicians Trilogy by Trudi Canavan
I read the first book in this series at the beginning of the year, and I thought it was ok. I'm still looking forward to reading this, and lately, I have felt really inclined to pick it up. I will probably read it next month.
5) The Millennium Series by Stieg Larsson
I read the first book of this series at the end of last year, and I loved it. I will definitely read the next two books in this series, but I'm not sure if I will read the next book that was written by someone different.
6) The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
Most fantasy fans out there have read this series, I read the first one and I really really liked it. I will definitely continue on with the series, but I don't think I will do it anytime soon.
7) The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu
I read the first book in this series like almost two years ago, I thought it was alright, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. I want to continue on with the series but I don't know when I will do it.
8) The Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkin
I read the first book in this series and I loved it! But then I didn't pick up the next right away and now I feel like I need to re-read this one if I want to continue with the other books.
9) The Shatter Me Trilogy by Tahereh Mafi
I read Shatter Me two years ago and I didn't think it was extraordinary, I just thought it was ok. Nonetheless, I want to read the other two books, because I want to know what made everyone change their minds about Warner.
10) The Selection Trilogy by Kiera Cass
I really enjoyed the first book, it was a quick and fun read, but I have no rush in reading the rest. Someday I will, but I'm not sure when.
