I already published a list of my anticipated book releases of 2016 by
author that have other books out already and are somewhat popular. In this
post, I wanted to put in the spotlight some of the books written by debut
authors, and talk about why I want to read them.
The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig
The whole time travel, ships and romance premise is really appealing to
me; the synopsis is very intriguing and it makes me really want to know what
happens. Also, I have heard so many people talk about this book that I can’t
wait to read it.
Sword and Verse by Kathy MacMillan
I found this book on Goodreads while I was checking out list of debut
novels of 2016 and it immediately caught my attention; its fantasy, which is my
favorite genre, and reading and writing have a very important role in the story
and that makes me excited to read it. I
want to see if it’s as good as it sounds.
The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye
This book sounds really cool; I love books where there are magic
competitions, I just get so excited to see who is gonna win and what challenges
the character face. I can’t wait to read this and found out about the magic
system, because the little information that the synopsis gives makes it sound
amazing.
Revenge and the Wild by Michelle Modesto
I have been hearing
about this book for a really long time and the synopsis made me really excited
to read it. Even if I don’t read that much steampunk, this one sound really
good and I feel like I’m gonna enjoy it.
Which debut novels of 2016 are you anticipating? Have you read any of the books on this list ? Did you enjoy them?
